About This Piece

Stoneware mug built using the slab technique and shaped in a spontaneous, organic way. The surface features an asymmetrical pattern that gives the piece a unique texture and rhythm. Two real leaves unfold gracefully on each side, their forms blending naturally into the clay. The form itself is intentionally asymmetrical, with a gently irregular handle that adds warmth and individuality. The irregular patterns reveal the traces of the hand that shaped it, giving the piece warmth, authenticity, and a living presence.

About Its Color

Deep tones of blue mixed with grey create a moody, atmospheric base, gently crossed by faint brown lines. The fig leaves are finished in pale brown iron oxide, standing out in soft contrast against the darker glaze. This combination of cool and warm tones gives the mug a grounded yet dynamic presence.
