4. The Birth of Gaga
Since then, I have been fully focused on developing Gaga. This meant countless hours of practice, filled with both successes and failures, patience and persistence.
I worked and am still working on improving my sculpting skills, experimenting with colors and textures, making mistakes, and learning from multiple rounds of trial and error in the kiln, each step teaching me something new.
Through this long and rewarding journey, I was able to gain a clear vision of what Gaga would eventually become.
That’s how Gaga came to life — almost instinctively, as a way to turn nature’s representations into objects that others could also connect with and make their own.
3. Discovery and Growth
In 2021 – after a lifetime of exploring different forms of art and completing a ceramics course, I finally began creating from a very personal place — more intentionally and with greater focus — giving a safe space to all the feelings and thoughts that had accompanied me throughout my life and now found their form in clay.
These ideas emerged as innate representations of the human being and the animal, always accompanied by a deep connection with nature.
From then on, clay became not only a material but also a natural way of expressing myself.
How Gaga Was Born...
1. A Simple Beginning
Gaga begins with a simple gesture: Hands on clay, without expectation, just the need to create. What started as an instinct gradually became a way to observe, to connect, and to give form to something meaningful for people's lives.

5. Where the name Gaga comes from?
The name Gaga comes about in the most spontaneous way.
Three years ago, when my daughter Valeria was beginning to speak, and her words were still unclear, her favorite word—and the only one she could say clearly—was nothing more, nothing less than: Gaga! What did Gaga mean to her? Gaga was the name of her stuffed best friend, a monkey who accompanied her in her early years. With her soft voice and first expressions, that name became part of our daily life, eventually becoming not only in a special moment but also in a special place—a space that would open the door to a unique fusion of creativity and soul.
2. A Bond With Clay
Since I was a child, I’ve felt a strong urge to shape things with my hands—drawing the human figure, molding forms from clay and other materials I always found around me. Over time, this became my favorite way to explore and express my imagination.
