About This Piece
Handmade ceramic piece using the coil building technique. The design features a human face with a rustic-tribal aesthetic, partially covered by a moth resting directly over it. This composition creates a strong visual and symbolic interaction between the two figures, blending human and animal elements into a unified presence. 

- FELENA - from the Italian for moth — refers to what moves calmly in the shadows, drawn to the light. It represents inner search, silent change, and connection with the subtle. It is a symbol of transition, sensitivity, and of that which transforms without being seen.

Designed to hold plants, it also serves as a sculptural decorative object.

About Its color
The colors of the piece uses a translucent turquoise green glaze with subtles brown-edged borders, evoking the natural elements of water and lush vegetation. This vibrant tone contrasts with the earthy hues of the moth, painted with iron oxide in brown tones, adding depth and conveying a primitive character. The combination of these colors creates a visual balance between the living and the ancestral, the vegetal and the animal, highlighting the connection between various treasured elements of nature.
