About The Piece
Handmade ceramic robust stoneware vase made with slab-building technique. This piece features a human face without visible eyes and a calm expression, vertically covered by a dragonfly with outstretched wings. The dragonfly transforms the face, creating a visual and symbolic connection with the human figure. A small hidden face on the dragonfly’s head adds a subtle detail. This relationship conveys a sense of communion with the hidden and instinctive.

 - ATHRÚ -  A Celtic word meaning transformation. The dragonfly, symbolizes the evolution of the self, the passage between worlds, and the fleeting beauty of existence.

Designed to hold plants - it is also ideal for storing essensials, or as a decorative piece.

About the Color
The piece combines dark and light blue tones on the surface, creating visual depth that references natural elements like water and sky. Brown streaks along the edges contrast with the blue, adding texture and recalling the earth. The dragonfly, finished in matte brown tones with iron oxide, stands out with an opaque, earthy texture that gives it a more subdued and grounded presence.
